Makeup Forever HD Invisible Cover Foundation is the first 'high end' foundation I bought and fell in love with until I purchased the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24hr which stole my heart and still has my heart. Anyway, this post is not about my holy grail foundation but instead, about the new Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation with 4k technology (what is 4k technology to the average jane ?).
It has been a while since Makeup Forever released a new foundation but they are coming out with two new foundations, this liquid foundation and a stick foundation in the fall. This foundation was released early exclusively at The Makeup Show NYC but it is to be officially released at all retailers on June 12th 2015.
According to the founder of MUFE, Dany Sanz, this foundation was inspired by her friends who work in the film and theatre industry. They asked for a foundation that would hold up well and look amazing on camera so after months of testing, she finally came up with this baby.
This new foundation is suppose to be an improved version of the current HD Invisible foundation, and a satin finish with 15 new shades to cater to every skin tone. The packaging of the foundation looks almost identical to the current Invisible HD foundation, the only visible difference is the metal rim around in the middle of the bottle.
I didn't get to attend The Makeup Show but thanks to my Parisian makeup junkie, Mariam, I was able to get my hands on this. I got the shade R520. I would've have gotten the shade Y535 because i wear 178 in the current HD foundation, but they were out of my shade so i settled for R520 which has more red undertones compared to yellow.

I put up a video on my YouTube channel on how I applied this foundation. What it looked like when I first applied, 10 hours later, and some quick thoughts on the wear so check it out :).

Although this is my third time wearing this foundation, I haven't formed an opinion on what I hate and love about it just yet. But hang tight, I will be sure to post a full review on it on my Youtube channel.
Until next time!
